Position Summary:

You will provide one-on-one telehealth nutrition education to clients with weight and health conditions such as morbid obesity and diabetes. Through client-centered and empathetic approach, you’ll guide individuals toward sustainable food choices that support healing and vitality. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, organized, and committed to improving lives through evidence-based nutrition.


Responsibilities: 

Provide remote nutrition education sessions, tailored to each client’s condition and program enrollment Use a coaching approach to support behavior change through goal-setting and practical food choices Document goals, care plans, and session notes using IntakeQ (Zenoti) Coordinate follow-up sessions for continuity of care Develop or adapt nutrition education tools and handouts Identify and refer clients to internal and community-based resources Stay current on clinical nutrition and chronic disease guidelines Collaborate with Iowa IV’s medical director and clinical peptide team of registered nurses Support other nutrition-related projects or initiatives as needed


Communication Cycle:

  • Daily: Clients

  • Weekly: Peptide team

  • Monthly: Progress reporting and education content updates with director of peptides

  • Quarterly: Strategy reviews and professional development check-ins


Qualifications: :

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science or Dietetics Registered Dietitian credential (CDR certified)

  • 1+ years of experience in nutrition education or clinical counseling

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Empathetic, client-centered approach

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong time management and documentation skills

  • Ability to make informed clinical decisions independently

  • Comfortable using digital platforms for telehealth and record keeping

  • Passion for helping others transform their health through nutrition
