Eat Better Today, Easy as 1-2-3: ① Kiwi: simply slice, scoop, and eat! Did you know one kiwi has more vitamin C than an orange AND more potassium than a banana? It's true, so eat one of these nutrition powerhouses daily instead of gulping more orange juice. ② Sweet potatoes: rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, and fiber. Pierce potato with a fork and microwave 5 minutes or until tender. Top with your favorite nut butter (or sunflower butter) and a pinch of cinnamon for a tasty treat! ③ Bell peppers: contain 2x as much vitamin C as citrus fruits! Swap out your pancakes and toaster pastries with this simple, immune-boosting recipe.


Better-4-U Breakfast Nachos:


  • In a nonstick pan, sauté bell peppers, onions, chicken sausage (or other desired protein) and canned black beans (rinsed & drained) for about 5 minutes.

  • Push mixture to one side of the pan and add eggs.

  • Cook until scrambled and mix well.

  • Spoon mixture over tortilla chips.

  • Top with shredded cheese, avocado slices, and/or salsa.

  • Enjoy immediately!
