  1. Ever carved a pumpkin and wondered if the seeds are edible? They are! Pepitas are what remain when the shell is removed from a pumpkin seed.

  2. Pepitas are tasty on their own but they can lend a boost of flavor when added to granola, salads, cereals, yogurt, etc.

  3. Like most seeds, pepitas are good sources of healthy fats and protein. A quarter cup of seeds contains 9g protein.
