Thanksgiving is just around the corner, here’s a unique way to use up that leftover Thanksgiving turkey.
This recipe is simple. Many of the ingredients are items you likely have on hand in your kitchen cupboards.
White turkey meat is a great lean source of protein. The cannellini beans are great sources of fiber and protein. 1 cup gets you 6g fiber and 24g protein
White Turkey Chili
2 cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 can healthy request cream of chicken soup
2 cups cubed turkey breast
1 1/3 cup milk
1 can (4 oz) chopped green chiles, drained
1 tbsp minced fresh cilantro
1 tbsp dried minced onion
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
Dollop with sour cream
In a large saucepan, combine all 10 ingredients; bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer covered for 25-30 min. until heated through.
Top with sour cream
