Become an RD Mentor with the Iowa Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

2026-2027 RD Mentorship Program

Here are some details:

The Iowa Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is working on pairings for the 2nd year of the state-wide Mentorship program! We are looking for Registered Dietitians or RD2Bs who would be interested in serving as a mentor or mentee. This is a fantastic opportunity for more experienced dietitians to give back and share their experience with a dietitian who is newer in the field. This is a benefit of your membership with the IAND, and is a great way to stay energized in your field!

 

Here are some details: 

• The program runs from August 12th, 2026 to May 26, 2027

• We will have a kickoff meeting in the evening of August 12th. More details to come. If you can’t make this meeting, you can still participate!

• You’ll be paired with a mentor or mentee that matches your goals and commitment level.

• You can meet with your mentor or mentee in-person or virtually.

The first wave of the survey closes on July 15, 2026. We'll be making pairs on a rolling basis following that date. For your best chance at being paired and getting the most out of the program, be sure to sign up today!
