Preparing for the 2023 Iowa Legislative Session Advocacy: Webinar

The Iowa Academy Public Policy team will be hosting a free, one-hour webinar “Preparing for the 2023 Iowa Legislative Session Advocacy: Essential for Ensuring Nutritional Access, Equity, & Security for All Iowans” on Friday, January 20th from 12:30-1:30 PM CST.

*Non-Academy members are also welcome and encouraged to attend at no cost.

During this webinar, hear from our policy team and lobbyist, Brittany Lumley, as we:

• Discuss important information about the upcoming 2023 Iowa Legislative session as it relates to the nutrition policy priorities of the Iowa Academy, on behalf of all registered and licensed Iowa dietetic professionals.
• Learn and practice how to effectively and confidently speak with legislators.
• Review key action steps to take to elevate the Dietetics profession in Iowa by supporting Iowa Academy policy efforts.
