The Iowa Academy Public Policy team will be hosting a free, one-hour webinar “Advocacy Training for the 2024 Iowa Legislative Session: Defending Licensure for Public and RDN Benefits” on Friday, January 12th from 12:00-1:00 PM CST.

Non-Academy members are also welcome and encouraged to attend at no cost.

During this webinar, hear from our policy team and new lobbyist firm Eide • Walton, as we:

• Increase our understanding of the importance of licensure in the dietetics profession and current threats to the Iowa Board of Dietetics and dietetics licensure.
• Learn how to effectively and confidently speak with legislators.
• Identify key skills, strategies, and action steps around licensure advocacy and other Iowa Academy member policy priorities.
