The Iowa Institute of Public Health Research and Policy at the College of Public Health, University of Iowa and the Iowa Department of Public Health are providing data training opportunities for public health professionals. These trainings are provided through the year, throughout Iowa and are free thanks to a grant from the Center for Disease and Control. The trainings focus on advancing individuals’ knowledge to better use, understand, and explain data to those they work with and within their residing community. Participants in the fields of public health, prevention, health care delivery, members of boards of health, providers, elected officials and anyone interested expanding their knowledge of communicating data should attend this training!
