Season(ing)’s Greetings!

It’s that ‘thyme’ of year! The holiday season is upon us, and while health and happiness are

truly the best gifts of all, most of us still enjoy exchanging gifts with family, friends, and even

coworkers. Challenge yourself this year to give the gift of good taste AND good health with less candy or cookies and more superfood seasonings! Naughty or nice, gift some SPICE! Fragrant and flavorful, dried herbs and spices make great Secret Santa gifts or stocking stuffers. Plus, they’re loaded with health benefits:

4 Reasons to Season:

① Zero fat, sodium or calories

② Antioxidant rich, helping decrease inflammation

③ Flavor enhancer, naturally brightens your meal with an extra pop of flavor

④ Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and ginger = comforting aromas that may help lift your mood

and can be an easy garnish on top of homemade applesauce, squash, or your favorite

pumpkin dessert

If you still can’t let the sweet treats go, try this simple yet festive finger food that’s low in sugar

and BIG on flavor!
