Search for New Executive Director
Ruth Litchfield, current Executive Director for the Iowa Academy, has informed the Iowa Academy that she will be leaving her role as of January 31, 2024. We thank Ruth for her leadership and all her contributions to the Iowa Academy!
A search committee for a new Executive Director has been formed and includes Maren Wolff, President; Brian Smith, Past-President; Ashley Danielson, Nominations Chair; and Kris Wood, Council on Professional Issues (CPI) Elect.
The tentative timeline for hiring a new Executive Director is:
Position Posted: Now
Application Review Begins: November 17, 2023
Interviews: November 2023
Contract Commences: December 2023
Ruth plans to help orient the new Executive Director to the position in December and January.
