West Central Community Action seeks a Dietitian for the Special Supplemental
Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
This Harlan, Iowa based position will travel to clinics in Cass, Crawford, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, and Shelby counties. WIC provides services to low resource mothers, infants, and children who are at risk for poor nutrition. Duties of this position include providing nutritional assessment and education to WIC clients through small group and individual counseling.
Travel is required. Candidates for this full-time, 36-40 hours per week position must be Registered Dietitians and Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Iowa. The starting rate for a licensed dietitian is $21.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
