Responsibilities:
Oversees the Food Service operation to patients, staff and visitors in our newly remodeled cafeteria with a dedicated team of employees
Collaborates with our team of Medical Practitioners and Outpatient Practitioners to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for a variety of disease states
Performs nutritional assessments and re-assessments, identifying goals, recommending nutrition interventions, monitoring and evaluating patient progress
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition and a dietetics internship with passing the National examination for Registration as a Dietitian. Must be licensed in the State of Iowa to practice as a dietitian. Completion of dietetic internship acceptable to the American Dietetic Association, twelve months of health care dietetic experience, current member of the American Dietetic Association and registration is preferred.
