Provides comprehensive dietetic service to the Med/Surg and OB patients. Will demonstrate the ability to provide services to infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Ensures that appropriate menus and diets are provided according to physician instruction, nutritional assessment and patient/resident preference.
Four-year degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure as a clinical dietitian in Iowa.
Prior experience in a dietetic role in a health care environment.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to write and document adequately and per regulatory requirements.
Ability to organize tasks and to work in a busy environment.
Ability to work with detailed information and to demonstrate accuracy.
Ability to tolerate stress.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
High level of responsibility and ability to organize tasks efficiently.
