The Nutrition & Food Services Manager is responsible for the management, planning and coordination of activities within the Nutrition Services Department to create high quality meals and dining experiences for customers consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices. Responsibilities: Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
High school diploma or GED, completion of CDM course in first 12 months of employment. One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience related to culinary arts or registered and licensed Dietitian preferred. Certified Dietary Manager; Serve Safe certified required, and CPR. This position requires a valid driver’s license and must carry their own automobile liability insurance.
