May is Egg Month – Eat the Yolks!

Registered Dietitian, Natalie Bum will educate viewers on the health benefits of eggs and assist anchor in creating Breakfast Egg Muffins

1. Eggs are full of nutrition, particularly the yolks. Egg whites are a good source of protein, but the yolks are the real nutrition powerhouses.


2. Although egg yolks are a notable source of cholesterol, research has shown that dietary cholesterol does not negatively impact blood cholesterol levels.


3. One large egg contains 6 grams of high quality protein, 13 essential vitamins and minerals and just 70 calories.
