Seeking a Consultant Registered Dietitian to provide clinical support for two family owned Continuing Care Retirement Communities in Southwest Iowa. This position would be responsible for assessing the special nutritional needs of the geriatric and physically impaired persons, developing therapeutic and regular diets to meet the needs of the geriatric and physically impaired persons and supervising facility Dietary Managers to ensure all dietary service personal are educated on proper institutional food preparation, service and storage.
Qualifications: Must be a Registered Dietitian with a bachelors degree.

Clinical Dietitian - Mercy Medical Center
Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa, located in Mason City, IA, is looking for a Clinical Dietitian - Renal to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Dietitian, Renal, manages the nutritional care of patients, which includes the assessment, development, coordination, and/or implementation of all activities pertaining to the nutritional needs for inpatient and outpatient services, primarily the Dialysis Center clients.
Must be a graduate from a four-year university with major in dietetics, food and nutrition, or equivalent field of study.
Graduate of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recognized dietetic internship program.
Current license in the state of Iowa and registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Certification in area of specialty is desirable.
One year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition after registration as a dietitian. Ability to form effective, professional working relationships with patients and health care providers.
Ability to administer an accurate, organized, and professional educational program.
Valid Iowa Drivers License required, with acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required for use of personal vehicle on a weekly basis.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
