University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Internal Medicine, has an opening for two Research Assistants to provide support for research by performing nutrition counseling to participants in a pilot study investigating the potential of two diets to reduce multiple sclerosis-related fatigue. Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling in-person and via telephone and will record chart notes from counseling sessions in a web-based database. Ability to have a flexible schedule that could require night and/or weekend hours.
Key areas of responsibilities include conducting research activities/experiments, collecting, analyzing and summarizing data, preparing reports, contributing to manuscripts/publications, administrative and project management, facilities and equipment management, and supervision/staffing.
