Iowa Outstanding Dietetic Student Awards

Number of possible awards: 2 (1 for each type of program in the state)

Selection criteria established by ADA:

• Member of The American Dietetic Association by January 1 of the year receiving the award and supply his/her membership number
• Enrolled in CADE-accredited or approved dietetic education program
• Demonstrated academic achievement as documented by letters from program faculty or preceptor
• Demonstrated leadership and professional potential; e.g., honors, student dietetic association activities, community service activities, etc.

• Nominations may be submitted by program faculty and preceptors.
